France, 1849, Ceres, 1fr light carmine, margins to in, used along with 25c blue on bluish (11) horizontal pair, large margins, both tied by dotted lozenge cancel on blue 1857 folded cover to Mexico, Paris (5.26.53) origin cds and red "PD" framed handstamp, red London Paid (5.27) transit cds; 1fr barely affected by fold, a Very Fine use.
