Van Nievelt / 'sGravenhage / Kantoor bij H.R. Jacobs, hoek der Hofstraat en lange Pooten" black on green label affixed on flap for forwarding, no postal charges evident and carried out of the mails to The Hague, Very Fine, Forwarder and Label not recorded by Rowe.

Netherlands, 1846 (May 11) Netherlands to 'sGravenhage, Netherlands, folded cover privately carried to Jonker in Amsterdam, "Algemeene Expeditie-Maatschappij / Jonker" black on white forwarder's label affixed, railroad to 'sGravenhage, Very Fine, Label not recorded by Rowe.
Estimate    $300 - 400.

Dutch forwarding labels were used to forward mail on the recently built European railroad system.

Netherlands to Dieren, Netherlands, light blue folded letter with blue merchants oval carried privately to Dieren where large "Diligence- en Spoorweg - Expeditie / Van Heumen, Koens & Kiesbrink. / Dieren." black on yellow label affixed and docketed "p. Koens 21 April 1849", large red crayon "45" due rating, Very Fine, Label not recorded by Rowe.
Estimate    $300 - 400.

Kiesbrink evidently replaced Van Munster sometime in 1848.

Netherlands, 1905, Queen Wilhelmina, 10g orange, o.g., never hinged, choice centering, rich vibrant color, certificate mentions minute brown spots on gum "though without flaws" - which is trivial at best, Extremely Fine; with 2000 C. Muis certificate. NVPH No. 80.

Netherlands, Marine Insurance, 1921, 15c-7½g complete, marginal blocks of 4, o.g., hinged at top, bottom stamps never hinged except high value (one stamp n.h.), rich colors, typical gum skips and tone spots on gum affecting most stamps, otherwise Very Fine, a very scarce set on blocks. NVPH No. 1-7.

Piombino, Lisbona" blue on white label affixed and tied by "Lisboa" cds with matching "150" reis; handstamps on reverse of both for transatlantic packet rate; light horizontal folds, Very Fine pair of forwarder's cover, Forwarder and Label not recorded by Rowe.
