Fancy Cancels Collection, 1850-80's, approximately 80 stamps on pages from elaborate to common designs; includes a section of mostly 1861 issues, fancy postmarks include Hingham, Mass. Bat (PA-BT 1), circular stars and strips "Paid" of Dedham, Mass. (PS-C 13), "A.J." monogram in grid of Brattleboro, Vt. (LC-A 1) and many others including shield, stars and fancy geometrics, and a section of Banknotes with postmarks including Devil's Masks (Cole JO-90 & JO-91), excellent strike of 1885 in Cross of Stoneham, Mass. (YD-148, with cert.), shields of Newcastle, Del. (SH-83) and Worcester, Mass. (SH-62), etc.

Mint Accumulation, 1880-1930's, hundreds on stock cards and in glassine with many better issues throughout; highlights including #312, 2¢ Lincoln bluish pair Pan-Pacific 5¢ & 10¢ blocks (339, 400A) and other issues including #404, #505 in strip of three, #517 block, nice selection of Washington-Franklin issues including blocks1918-20 dollar values Franklins, #634A, Kans-Nebr set in blocks (mostly n.h.), good 4th Bureau blocks, Prexie dollar value plate blocks, some good back-of-the-book material, etc.; a nice accumulation of material with much n.h. and condition above the norm, worth proper evaluation.

New York Foreign Mail Cancels Collection, 1870-80's, 69 Banknote issues on pages, 1¢-30¢ denominations representing a nice array of NYFM's, nice showing of scarcer types including a nice strike of the rare Weiss TR-M7, other noted including TR-M2, TR-C7 (two different states), RE-E4 (the fouled anchor), GE-C1 and many others, many nice strikes throughout.

Specialized 1861-67 Issue Collection, excellent collection comprising (used unless noted) ungrilled 1¢ (6), 3¢ (64 including and unused strip of 5), 10¢ (2, one unused)), 12¢ (12), 24¢ (19 including two steel blue), 30¢ (2), 5¢ brown (2) and 15¢ (2), E. grill 3¢ (5), 10¢ (1), 12¢ (3) and F. grill 3¢ (13), 10¢ (pair), 12¢ (3) and 15¢ (2); most were acquired for their cancellation interest, but there are also a few constant plate flaws; few small faults, especially on the higher values, generally F.-V.F., Scott value is about $14,000, An outstanding lot.
