Newspaper, 1865, 5¢ dark blue, blue brush stroke cancel, couple creases and pulled perf at bottom, Very Fine appearance, an extremely rare example of the 1865 5¢ Newspaper issue, only six recorded examples in the Dr. Pepper census all of which are faulty.
Scott No. PR1    $2,000 for faulty.

This example is not included in the Pepper census and is without question one of the finest used examples in existence.
