Worldwide, Olympic Collection, 1932, a lovely collection mounted on exhibition pages, all beautifully written up covering the 1932 Olympics in Lake Placid and Los Angeles, a wide variety of material represented which includes issued stamps, photo trial proofs, commemorative covers and postmarks, first day covers, athlete autographs, individual highlights include 1932 Los Angeles open day cover franked with 3¢ Olympic with additional 10c Olympic of the Netherlands for the 1928 games tied by one of three strike of the rare "Mailed at Olympic Village Station" handstamp, 1932 Stadium Card with Publicity label affixed & franked with 1½¢ Harding & Scarce Publicity label tied by postmark, 1932 Olympic Stationery Cover with matching Letterhead written on 8/3/32 giving an eyewitness account of the Track and Field events, etc., many Olympic medalist autographs are present (virtually all on Olympic cards, covers or documents) such as Birger Ruud (1932-48 Gold & Silver Medalist, Ski Jumping), Jack Shea (1932 Two Time Gold Medalist, Speed Skating), Karl Schafer (1932-36 Two Time Gold Medalist, Figure Skating), Fritzi Burger (1928-32 Silver Medalist, Figure Skating), Mildred (Babe) Didrikson (1932 Two Time Gold Medalist, 80M Hurdles & Javelin), 1932 Men's Eight Crew Team (1932 Gold Medal), plus many more, condition is very nice overall with many unusual items included, a great lot for the specialist and careful inspection is a must, Very Fine.

Worldwide, Olympic Collection, 1936, a wonderful collection housed in 2 binders, all beautifully written up covering the 1936 Summer & Winter Olympics held in Berlin and Garmisch-Partenkirchen (most from Summer Games), showing a wide variety of material which includes issued stamps, booklets, souvenir sheets, varieties, commemorative covers and postmarks, flown Zeppelin covers, Olympic Meter propaganda markings, athlete autographs, ephemera, etc., many Olympic medalist autographs are present (virtually all on Olympic cards, covers or documents) such as Jesse Owens (Four Time Gold Medalist, Track & Field), Ralph Medcalfe (Four Time Medalist, including Gold, Track), signatures of the 4 x 100M Relay Gold Medalist, Gold Medalist of the Discus Throw, Springboard Diving, and J.
