Wells Fargo & Co., red frank on 10¢ green (U33) star die entire to New York City, carried by Wells, Fargo & Co. to New York where it entered the U.S. mails with "New-York Jul 27" duplex; no flap, minor upper right corner mend, Fine and very scarce red frank usage on a 10¢ Star Die entire.

Goodyear & Teal Stations N.R.R., Solano Co., Cal., unusual violet address handstamp with messenger directive…Messenger Will Please Throw This Off As Train Passes Bridge Keeper's House, on San Francisco corner card cover paste-up, reverse with 2¢ brown entire canceled by purple "Wells, Fargo & Co, San Francisco, Nov 30, 1887" cds, black company frank; slight rough cover opening, Very Fine, one of two known examples of this unusual delivery notice, with copy of article from Western Express regarding the other cover (Dec 2006, B. Chandler - Wells Fargo's Service Is Just Ducky).

Wells Fargo & Co., Express, Portland., blue oval handstamp (Leutzinger type 3-1) on 1855 10¢ Nesbitt entire (on white) with red "Atlantic Express" printed frank, to New Hampshire, entered the mails with New York cds with year date (probably 1860), minor edge fault at bottom and small piece of bottom backflap missing, otherwise Very Fine, a rare Wells Fargo transcontinental red frank use from Oregon, ex-Mader.
