Germany, 1914 (Jul. 31) Bad Nauheim, Germany to London, England, Germany 10pf postal card cancelled by "Bad Nauheim, 31 7 14" cds, bold "ZURUCK" (return) straightline handstamp, message in English reads "…There is great excitement here & Frankfort from the war scare groups in the street excitedly discussing the latest telegram. All Austrians have to leave…", F.-V.F.
Estimate    $200 - 300.

This was sent only one day prior to Germany mobilizing for war on August 1st 1914. On August 4th 1914, Great Britain declared war on Germany.
