Stecker, Broad Street" below on lettersheet with 4-line verse at top, two page letter datelined "Manassas Junction, Va., November the 21st, 1861" mentions seeing the "grate battle ground of manassas" with dead horses and Yankees still dotting the landscape…I saw where the place where Barto fell his monument is over that place and the words he spoke after he fell they had killed my boys but never give up the fight, original soldier's endorsed letter with indistinct cds and light "Due 10" handstamp, Very Fine.
