1916, 30¢ orange red, position 3 from the plate #6917 sheet, o.g., never hinged, natural s.e. at top, intensely deep color and very fresh, well centered for this notoriously off-centered issue with design clear of perforations at the left, Fine and rare, a lovely example of the rare 30¢ perf 10 Washington-Franklin issue on unwatermarked paper; with 1972 P.F. certificate. Scott No. 476A $4,500 for the grade of fine.
