United States Collection, 1847-1930s, arranged on stockpages; starting with a strong range of used classics with pleasant duplication including #1 x2, 1851 issues with sound 4-margin #12, 10¢ type I-III and 12¢ all 4-margin, 1857 issue with denominations to the 30¢ and various types represented, 1861-67 issues with various shades and high values including 3¢ pink, 5¢ buff, 90¢ x3, etc., E. & F. grills with high values, 1869 Pictorial complete used with mid-value duplication (90¢ well centered) and a 1¢ Re-issue unused, fair showing of Banknotes with some mint, Bureaus with a few dollar values, Columbian high values including $1 & $2 unused and used $1 x2 and $4, useful showing of later issues through Washington-Franklins mostly used, Prexies including a rum of plate blocks to the $2, mix of back-of-the-book issues with airmails including #C15 in piece and over 25 #C18's mostly mint, few M&M's with Dalley's Horse Salve issue (RS73, Cat $300), cut squares and postal card hoard, Hawaii including a few numeral issues and Banknotes, Doonsebury stamp album signed by G.
