Mexico, 1856, First Issue, 2r yellow green, Mazatlan, superb margins showing plate guideline at left edge, canceled by Panuco manuscript mute oval (always at a 45% angle) on cover front to Mazatlan, Very Fine, a very rare mute oval cancel from Panuco, with only four examples recorded.

Schatzkes appears to record this cancel under Mazatlan as number 743, although it is now known being from Panuco.
