Mexico, 1864-66, Eagle issue, Monterrey, 2nd Period cons 175-1864; eleven stamps (2 unused - 1r & 2r) including nice examples of the 4r & 8r, the latter four margins and ex-Pietsch (illustrated in his book), 1r & 2r sub 12 Linares are also present, generally F.-V.F. Follansbee No. 24-27 $820.

Mexico, 1864-66, Eagle issue, Morelia, 3rd Period; 13 stamps bearing sub-numbers (one mint - ½r 220-1864 sub 5 & 9), also a used ½r 220-1864 sub 23 with Patzcuaro cancel (Schatzkes 962) and a sub 3 with blue cancel (possibly Tacambaro), others are 1r (five) and 2r including a nice sub 5 Taretan (Schatzkes 1002), some have great margins, F.-V.F.

Mexico, 1864-66, Eagle issue, Morelia, 4th Period sub-consignments of Patzcuaro (eight, one without sub-number), Sahuayo (three, including ½r 143-1865 sub 2 and 4r 84-1865 sub 2), and Zamora (five including ½r 143-1865 sub 38) also three "Jiquilpan" with indistinct blue cancels including ½r 143-1865 sub 39, and also a 4r 84-1865 sub 9 canceled Morelia, altogether there are 20 different, most F.-V.F.

Mexico, 1864-66, Eagle issue, Morelia, 5th Period sub-consignments of Patzcuaro (four), Cotija (two including a beautiful ½r with small faults), La Piedad (a 1r with indistinct blue cancel), Purepero (1r 16-1866 sub 8), Sahuayo (½r & 2r with blue remainder cancels), Taretan (two 2rs, one with error 106-1866 sub 17, both with Schatzkes 1002), Urupan (two, a 2r with manuscript cancel is faulty but rare), and Zamora (five), also a ½r 16-1866 sub 10 with blue Panindicuaro (Schatzkes 955), 20 different altogether, mostly F.-V.F. Follansbee No. 42-44.

Mexico, 1864-66, Eagle issue, Morelia, group of 44 stamps and two covers; 2nd period is represented by two each of 1r & 2r (one 1r canceled Patzcuaro), while the thirteen 3rd Period stamps include a very fine 4f and two ½rs, two ½r 84-1865 include one with massive plate flaw, ½r 143-1865 and 8r 17-1865 (black cancel) are also present, there are two 4th Period 4rs and a 2r pair, a strip of three 2r 66-1866 may be unique, mostly F.-V.F., a nice lot. Follansbee No. 24/45 $1,734+.
