1866-67 Emperor Maximilian Issue Collection, of 495 stamps plus a few French stamps with CEM bureau cancels, a nice carte de viste of the emperor and his wife, and a quantity of unoverprinted stamps, includes three engraved 7c unused (small faults), strip of three used 25c Mexico 120-866, used pair of 25c Mexico 28-1866, several mint blacks of four (various, including 25c Mexico name only chocolate shade) and various with sub-numbers, some used, 26 districts are represented, there are duplicates and some faulty (as usual), but also some premium varieties, F.-V.F.

Mexico, 1867 Gothic "Mexico" Issue Collection, 200 stamps in binder, Scott catalog value $10,841 from which sixteen different cataloging $1,797 would make a basic collection (couple present both mint and used) which could be augmented by two pairs (one 4r), five covers, a few plate varieties (including the 2r position 189 large plate crack) and some used outside of Mexico City selected from the rest, includes a 4r printed on both sides, also a few "curiosities" not counted; condition varies, F.-V.F. overall.

Mexico, 1867 Gothic "Mexico" Issues on Cover, group of 8 covers; includes three 2r black on pink (37) single usages, two with Mexico cds and one with mute grid canceller, 1r + 2r (36+37) combination usage to Durango, 1r blue (43) single and two 2r green (44) single usages, one showing crack plate flaw, and a 1r + 2r (43+44) combination usage; couple with flaws, generally Very Fine.

Mexico, 1868 Full Face Hidalgo Issue on Cover, group of 25 covers and three fronts; with 12c solo usage from Apam and several pairs usages, strip of three Parasquiaro to Durango, 12c+25c combination from Mazatlan, 25c solo usages from various towns including Mazatlan, Acapulco, Sinaloa, Allende, Guad Y Calvo (red straight line), Ario de Rosales, Saltillo with attractive governor official eagle cachet handstamp, etc., 50c solo usages from Mexico and Matamoros, combination with 25c from Tepic and 12c from Durango.

Mexico, 1872 Hidalgo Profile Issue on Cover, group of 17 covers and front; includes 6c two pairs (stamp fault) tied by Tula Tampas oval, 12c solo usage from Ojo Calientes, two 12c+25c combination frankings from Tampico and Acatlan, 25c usages from an array of towns including Matamoros (negative seal cancel), Matehuala, S.L.P. with Papel Sellado watermark issue (Scott 83), C. Gutzman, Veracruz, Ville Ortega de Rio Grande, etc., also a 25c front to Philadelphia additionally franked with U.S. 3¢ Banknote, 50c solo usage to Saltillo.

1879-83 Foreign Mail Issue Collection, of over 1,180 stamps with a Scott catalog value of over $14,800, plus quantities of unoverprinted mint (not counted) organized in three volumes mainly by district, most of which are represented, great many stamps of which only 100-200 (or fewer) were issued, 25c and higher denominations are figured as unused with a few exceptions that are clearly postally used (including three 85c, 50c yellow and a faulty but impressive 100c orange), some scarce stamps are worth major premiums; some duplication to be expected, F.-V.F. overall.
