Thailand, 1918-19, Blue, imperf, Dusit Thani local post issue, large even margins, neat corner cancel, Extremely Fine, a wonderful example of this very rare local issue.
Estimate    $1,000 - 1,500.

The Dusit Thani local issue were used at the palace in the Democracy Model City. Only a few are known genuinely used.

Uruguay, 1859, 120c blue, thin figures, ample to mostly large margins, tied by neat "Montevideo, 18 Oct, 1859" oval date stamp on folded letter sheet to Buenos Ayres, manuscript "pr Corça" ship endorsement at top, Very Fine, a very usage sent on the steamer Corça as this ship was in service for a few short period of time.

Uruguay, 1859, 240c vermilion, small figures, block of 4, without gum, top left stamp showing colorless spot in top left spandrel (subtype 13A), other types 14/15-16, creases affecting bottom left and right stamps, small nick in top margin, Very Fine appearance, this being one of only four blocks of four recorded bearing subtypes.

Uruguay, 1866, 5c blue, imperforate, ample to mostly large margins, tied by fancy sunburst handstamp on folded letter sheet to Tacuarembo, matching "Montevideo, 15 Enero, 1866" oval date stamp; cover with bottom flap missing, Very Fine, one of the earliest recorded on cover examples of this stamp; with 2008 C. Rocha certificate.
