Uruguay, 1866, 15c yellow, imperforate, trisected, right third of stamp tied by Rocha oval handstamp on 1866, 5¢ blue postal front addressed to Montevideo, initially misdirected to Rocha with Montevideo transit (19.7.1870), having been the addressee's surname "Rocha" mistaken for the name of the Rocha city, then franked with third of 15c value paying the single rate, with double oval of Colonia as transit and Montevideo cds (5.8.1870) alongside, F.-V.F., postal stationery envelopes with additional franking are very scarce with this franking being unique, illustrated in the "Uruguay Filatélico" of 1939, ex-Lee & Podestá; with 2008 C. Rocha certificate.

Uruguay, 1866, 5c blue, perf'd, on combination with Revenue 20c + 50c "Timbre Nacional" issues tied on piece of 1875 document by manuscript signature, Very Fine, this is the only example of revenue stamps used in combination with any large numeral issue; with 2008 C. Rocha certificate.

Uruguay, 1866, 15c orange yellow, perf'd, in combination with 1877, 5c green + 50c black, rouletted on reverse of registered cover to Colonia forwarded to Carmelo, all tied by "4" in oval grid handstamps, "Nueva Palmira, 17 Seti, 78" oval origin date stamp and boxed "Recomendada" handstamps on front; cover reduced at sides and top, Fine and rare, this being the unique on cover usage of this franking; with 2008 C. Rocha certificate.

Yemen, 1993, Provisional Surcharge Issue Group, selection of the highest 11 different surcharges, comprises all in marginal strips of four unless noted; with Scott 621, 621B, 627 (block of 6), 638-644 and 645 (block of 4), several have R surcharges both with and without period, o.g., never hinged, Very Fine, an extremely rare multiple grouping, some quite possibly unique in multiple format.
