Gerow & Johnson's British Columbia Express, printed company frank with Victoria and New Westminster directives above, on fresh unused cover, 1869, 25¢ on 3d orange hinged on cover (may not belong), small "G&J, E" express initial handstamp on backflap, Very Fine. Estimate $200 - 300.
Gerow & Johnson underbid Barnard's Express for the mail contract in 1871 and also started an express. They lasted only two months before selling out to Barnard.
