1902, 1¢ Black On, "Full-Face McKinley", Recut Die Essay on Wove, transferred die essay of all printing recut to remove forehead dots and to brighten, on 151 x 85 mm thin wove paper, memo from J.H. Reeve on the front (5 lines) and back (3 lines) reading "All postal cards of this design were condemned, but through accident a few were issued at P.C. Agency, Rumford Falls, Me. All of which, I am informed, were collected by Mr. Bartells, Stamp Collector, at Boston Mass, J.H.R.; large portion of UL corner and a small portion of LL corner missing, silked to strengthened.
