Washington Postal History Accumulation, several thousand covers and cards overflowing from a banker box, good selection of a few 19th (we even saw a Territorial or two!) but mostly 20th centuries, many DPO's (1's, 2's, 3's, 4's & 5's), Doanes, mostly small towns, many cheap but interesting event covers, good mix of $1 up to a few $35 covers with quite a few better, for the collector or show dealer, some are sleeved and/or priced, inspect.

West Virginia Postal History, 1814-1900s, mostly 1800s collection of over 160 covers mounted on pages, includes a wide variety of towns, rates and markings from Western Virginia, noted includes 1852 Wheeling Va. stampless fancy "Paid 3" in octagon box with rays; Harpers Ferry "One Government & One Flag" patriotic #65 cover, 1855 "Red Sul Springs Va" ms. postmark cover; "Paw Paw Va" ms. postmark and "Free" postmaster letter; 1850 "Indian Creek Va" ms. postmark cover; 1814 "Monroe C H Va" ms. postmark cover; 1837 and 1838 "Romney Va." ms. postmark folded letters with 10¢ and 12½¢ ratings; 1831 Shepherdstown Va. oval postmark cover; 1848 "Buffalo Va" ms. postmark letter; 1858 Charleston Va. to England transatlantic use; 1850s "Duffield Va" ms. postmark use; 1860s "North Mountain, B & O R.r." oval postmark use with #65 to Summerville N.Y.; a few Civil War patriotics, etc.; some mixed condition, F.-V.F.
