Postal History Balance, interesting balance of approx. 52 mostly stampless covers with better noted including 1795 "New London 2 Apl" ms. postmark and "15" rating along with "Boston" straightline on Wilmington N.C. letter to Pawnborough, 1845 July 1st Jackson Mich. with ms. "10" rating on first day of 5¢ rate letter, 1830 Saco Maine boxed postmark, 1815 "Savan. Ga. Jun 27" cds with "37½" war rating to Philadelphia, 1902 International Postal Supply Co. Peoria, Ill. "Elk's Carnival" machine cancel, etc.; some mixed condition.

Postal History Balance, 1800s-1900s, balance of old-time collection of 140 covers in small box including some classics, #9 on cover, two covers with three #24 frankings, #25 on forwarded cover, 90¢ #155 with #157, 158, 159 high-value registered franking cover, Columbians, group of covers used on holidays and special dates including Feb. 29th leap year, group of Philadelphia and suburbs, Swartz's Despatch use on faulty ornate valentine with Bouton stamp, also includes dubious #17 pair with right bisected added to legal-size steamboat cover, few US possession covers, #1 added to stampless cover, also includes a hundred or so FDCs; mixed condition.
