British Commonwealth, Assortment, arranged by country and Scott number in a three-ring binder on fifty stock pages, a bit of everything here from Cape triangles through more recent mint gutter pairs and souvenir sheets, inspection, especially of pages holding Ceylon, India, Hong Kong and South Australia, will yield many pleasing surprises.

Lot 1805    

British Commonwealth, 1935 Silver Jubilee Omnibus Collection, housed in stockbook, a complete set in mint never hinged blocks of four with many marginal blocks, includes various varieties (mostly dot and dash vars.), all fresh with rich colors; hinging on few British Solomon issues seems to be the only exception, with S.G. catalog £5,600 for hinged singles (not counting plate varieties), Very Fine, a lovely set which is difficult to find in this choice never hinged condition.
Estimate    $3,000 - 4,000.
