France, Covers, stock of over 170 covers, includes better like #16 pair on cover, #7a pair with brilliant color on cover from Paris to Lancashire, England, #17 proof postally used on cover, #C17 single used on flight cover to Portland Ore., etc., mixed condition but plenty of value, marked retail over $12,000.

France, Collection, 1849-1955, extensive collection mostly arranged and identified on stockpages in 17 volumes; main collection/study with classic issues in quantities for cancels and varieties, i.e. Scott #1 x5, also cancel studies, early stampless and on cover usages, later issues with better including a 4-margin 1853 1f lake, later perf issue with good mint, essays and additional cancel studies, nice showing of Bordeaux issues, Merson high values mint, later better including 1923 Congress mint, 1929 Le Havre on registered cover, 1937 PEXIP sheet, airmails with C1-C2 used, C14 mint, good semi-postals and other back-of-the-book, includes additional backup collections and stock; lots of material and value, condition varies with many nice items throughout, worth careful inspection.

France, Collection, 1849-90's, housed in Scott album; with a study of classic issues with strong completion of Napoleon & Ceres issues followed up by shade and types studies, commemorative completion of Bordeaux issues, Peace & Commerce nearing completion with shades & perfins, similar 1900-38 issues with a section of Sower margin ads (booklets), later mint highlights including 1923 Bordeaux Congress, 1929 Le Havre Expo, 1935 1.50f Normandie turquoise x2, 1937 Pexip sheet x2 and predominately mint and mostly complete thereafter, semi-postals lacking #B9-B10 for completion with virtually all mint after 1930 including later booklets, airmail lacking #C3-C4 and include #C14-C15 used, good representation in dues, other useful both issues, labels, etc.; condition varies mostly confined to early issues with much completion and later n.h., worth careful evaluation.

France, Collection, 1849-1976, extensive collection in Scott album; many, many highlights include 1929 Le Havre overprint VLH, XF and expertised; also includes nice Reunion; a very complete collection in exceptionally fine condition; usually not offered intact with such high quality. Scott catalog $18,000.

France, Collection, 1849-2004, housed in three Scott albums; starting with strong completion in early issues mostly used including 1853 1fr lake (4 margins and lightly canceled), later complete sets including 1863-70 issue with three used 5fr issues, complete Bordeaux issues, Peace & Commerce missing only the two rarities, later completion missing only the key Exposition issues with mint completion from 1935 on, back-of-the-book including semi-postals with some good early issues, airs & dues, useful officies, etc.; nice material with condition above the norm.

France, Cover Collection, 1852-71, of 46 covers plus a few incoming written-up on pages in album; mostly to foreign destinations including usages to and from Turkey, 1872 3-color mixed issue franking to New Orleans, La., 1864 usage to Lima, Peru, 1873 usage to Buenos Ayres, 1860 & 1862 usages to Veracruz, Mexico, nice range of markings including ambulants.

France & Colonies, Accumulation, large holding of mint and used neatly arranged on manilla stock pages in folders, mostly clean 20th Century mint, good value in France, Monaco and nice French Antarctic, colonies range from Afars to Wallace & Fortuna including French Sudan, Obock, Reunion etc., much NH, some duplication, worth close inspection, generally fine to very fine throughout.

France & Colonies, Collection, of mostly modern mint and used sets, singles and souvenir sheets in mounts on attractive homemade pages, including France, Afars and Issas, Andorra, French Antarctic, Monaco, St. Pierre etc., also good sections of French Africa with Chad, Guinea, Togo and Tunisia, much topical appeal in the modern mint with animals, birds, fish etc., generally fine to very fine.
