Aug 4, 9AM, cds duplexed with quartered rectangle cancels 3¢ red (U218) Centennial entire with blue illustrated Shepherd & Lloyd Hardware Specialties showing wheel barrow to Taunton Mass.; small edge tear not mentioned, Very Fine and rare red Centennial entire used from the Expo; with 2016 P.F. certificate.
Bomar No. P76-01    Estimate $750 - 1,000.

According to the latest edition of Bomar, there are only 13 recorded 3¢ red Centennial entire used from the exposition (including one front). The example offered here is unusual with the illustrated advertising.

Bain, Agt, Philadelphia" oval backstamp, also includes purple part-printed Centennial enclosure with typed greeting and closing not original to this entire; reduced at left, otherwise Very Fine.
