1859, 10¢ green, type V, group of 28 strips of three; 17 horizontal strips and 11 vertical strips plus one piece with pair and single originally forming a strip incl. pos. 37L2 with curl in head, twelve are plated, includes four marginal strips (horiz.) showing plate guideline, two strips (vert. & horiz.) showing partial captured imprint, range of cancels including blue town, red grid and transit, few items on piece, one strip accompanied by PF certificate; some flaws to be expected, generally F.-V.F.

1859, 10¢ green, type V, deep rich proof-like color and impression, cancelled by bold red circular grid cancel and part of red New York Ocean Mail cds, small tear at top right, Very Fine appearing, The New York Ocean Mail cds is rare found struck in red.; with 1990 P.F. certificate.
