1911, 3¢ deep violet, horizontal coil, guide line pair, o.g., barest trace of hinge, virtually perfect centering amid wide margins, rich deep color, Superb, certainly one of the finest original gum examples of this tough line pair, this being one of four examples to receive this grade with none higher; with 2002 P.S.E. certificate Graded (Superb 98, SMQ $1,400).
