Hawaii, 1864, 1¢ black, "HA" instead of "HAWAIIAN", Plate 8-A, Type IX, Westerberg Position 10, full fresh original gum, four large even margins, Extremely Fine and choice, an absolute Gem Example of this Famous Error, very rare with original gum (The Golden Example without gum sold for over $10,000!), ex-Drucker; with 1984 P.F. certificate.

THIS IS WIDELY REGARDED AS FINEST KNOWN MINT ORIGINAL GUM EXAMPLE OF THE 1864 1¢ BLACK NUMERAL ISSUE WITH "HA" INSTEAD OF "HAWAIIAN" TYPESET ERROR.
