Colombia, 1837 Carthhagena to London, England, folded letter sheet endorsed "Legation of the United States, Bogota, April 7, 1837" at top, with reddish brown "Carthhagena" circular postmark and manuscript "3/1" rating, reverse with "Kingston, My 12, 1837" transit and "London, July 14, 1837" receiving postmark, forwarding notation on reverse from the Vice Consul at Carthhagena, Very Fine.

Costa Rica, 1892, 50c gray blue, in combination with 1892, 5c red lilac + 1c light green on registered cover to San Francisco, Cal., all tied by target handstamps with matching "AR" handstamp, blue "Puntarenas, Oct 25, 1898" cds and matching registry handstamp, reverse with N.Y. transit and receiving cds; some light cover wrinkling and opening tears at top, otherwise Very Fine, a very rare usage of the 1892 50c Coat of Arms issue on cover.
