Mexico, 1913 Ejercito Issue Covers, of 68 covers mostly mounted on annotated pages in album; among the nicest are early use covers genuinely using stamps with talons - 5¢ single franking and one with 1¢ pair (unsealed), #343+347 (2) combination, some philatelic including two of the three registered, three to U.S. bearing postage dues, etc. (no photo).

Lot 2142    

Mexico, 1914, 20c Sonora Coach Seal, Guaymas "E C" provisional overprint, two singles, tied on bank cover to Nogales, Sonora carried through the U.S. with stamps canceled by "San Francisco, Cal., Nov 7, 1915" duplex postmark, rough top margins and one stamp faulty, Fine, a very rare and interesting usage. Follansbee No. Guaymas 4.

Mexico, 1914 Revolution Era - "MEXICO", five 1c Centenarios tied on cover by San Angel duplexes, sent 10 Sept 1914 to Hermosillo, Sonora was having its own civil war at the time and to indicate the postage was accepted the handstamp "MEXICO" was applied twice, Very Fine, the mark is rare and only used at Hermosillo for a brief period.
