Belgium, Collection, 1849-1998, strong near complete mostly mint collection housed in two Scott albums; regular issue with highlights including Scott #23 mint (cat $250), #39 used 5fr high value (cat $1,450), #47 used ($300), 108-22 mint ($362), 124-37 mint set ($646), 221 mint ($250), etc., back-of-the-book in similar fashion with semi-postal including 16 different souvenir sheets for Orval Abbey (B303-B304), B513a n.h. ($425), airmails, dues, strong newspapers and railroad issues, etc.; nice condition throughout, with detailed inventory list, owner's Scott cat $20,314.

Bolivia, Cover & Stationery Collection, 1867-1912, of 49 items identified on pages; includes two singles of the 1867 5c Condor issue on front Potosi to Cobija with prestamp mark tying (Sobohispo cert.), number of 1868 Coat of Arms issues on cover including usage to England, later Arms issues including 1893 registered multi-franking to Chile, bisect usages of various issues, selection of some nice stampless including later diplomatic mail, airmail, selection of mint postal cards including two 1890 essay cards (both with Gugliano certs, one listed as unique); a nice group worth evaluation.

Lot 2630 /o   

Brazil, Collection, 1843-78, specialized mostly used collection housed in quadrille pages in early Centennial album, with a strong focus on cancellations; starting with 1843 60r x3, 1844-46 issues with various issues in duplication showing a nice range of cancels, pairs and strips, including 600r value, 1850 issues mostly used again with many multiples of the 30r, block of 10 of the 60r and multiple examples of the high values, 1854-66 issues in similar fashion with multiples, mint, mixed issue franking on piece, etc., an impressive section of following Don Pedro issues with over 2,000 perforated, imperf and roulette issues including mint, fancy and color cancels, NYBN Co. inscription, etc., includes some literature; a wonderful collection for the Brazil cancel specialist.
