Mexico, 1884, Hidalgo Medallion, 1p blue, in combination with 1885, Hidalgo Medallion, 5c blue + 3c red orange & 12c brown on 1886 registered cover to Paris, France, all tied by segmented cork handstamps, violet "Via El Paso Y New York" routing handstamp and Mexico & N.Y. registry etiquettes, reverse with Mexico origin and N.Y. transit postmarks, Very Fine, less than 20 covers are known using the 1 peso stamp.

Mexico, 1885, Hidalgo Medallion, 25c greenish blue, in combination with 1887, Numeral, 3c scarlet + Colima Provisional 1c surcharges on 2c carmine, perf 12 + 2c carmine, perf 6 + 2c carmine, ruled lines, four singles (184+175 var+191 var+202 var) on registered cover to Halifax, Nova Scotia, all tied by blue pinwheel handstamps, red 1888 Colima oval handstamp and matching registry handstamp, with additional Piedras Negras registry handstamp, Very Fine, an interesting foreign usage of the unauthorized Colima Provisional surcharge on three different 2¢ issues; signed J Bash, with 1977 M.E.P.S.I. certificate.
