Ecuador, 1865, 1r Yellowish Green, Horizontal Strip of Eight, 1st printing, positions 46//53, in combination with 1865, ½r blue on "17oz" weight endorsed Judicial cover to Latacunga, all tied by "Riobamba, 30 Sept, 65" cds's and matching dotted lozenge handstamps; file fold (separating at top) affecting strip with a few small internal breaks in sixth stamp, otherwise Very Fine, the strip of eight is the second largest known multiple on cover.

Ecuador, 1865, 1r Green, Horizontal Pair and Six Singles, singles in dull green and pair at center in unusual pale olive green and poorer impression showing frame wear along the top, tied by "Riobamba, 12 Sept, 66" cds's on large Judicial wrapper front to Guaranda, manuscript "16oz" weight endorsement at right; horizontal file fold affecting one single stamp, F.-V.F., an interesting high franking usage showing two different stamp printings; with 1988 Holcombe, 2002 Raybaudi and 2011 Moorhouse certificates.

Ecuador, 1865, 1r Green, Seven Singles, in light green and green shades, in combination with 1865, ½r blue on Judicial wrapper to Latacunga, tied by manuscript "Riobamba, Riobba, Riobb." cancels, "14¼oz" weight endorsement and reverse with "5 de Agto de 1865" docketing, Very Fine, an attractive combination franking bearing the manuscript Riobamba cancels just prior to the issue of handstamp devices.

Ecuador, 1865, 1r Green, Horizontal Pair, ample to large margins, canceled and tied by "Ambato" in dotted hexagon handstamps on Judicial wrapper to Riobamba, manuscript "3¾oz." weight endorsement at right, Very Fine, this postmark is believed to have been used only during the first three months of the first issue, ex-Olgieser.
