Cover Balance, of over 25 items; some nice domestic usages including 2¢ Blackjack on violet colored valentine (with enclosure), a run of mostly #11's single usage with a variety of choice town strikes, green York, Pa. cds tying #11, couple scarce unused patriotic covers including "Prince of Wales", bold Omaha City, N.T. cds on 3¢ Nesbitt, illustrated telegraph cover, ad cover with illustrated 1879 Seventh Cincinnati Industrial Exposition design, etc.

Cover Balance, of almost 20 items; includes Lincoln rail splitter campaign cover, 1869 10¢ Pictorial to Dresden, Saxony, 2¢ Pictorial usages including wrapper, advertising, couple bank tags including one with four color franking with 1922 $5 Freedom block of four, 1896 use to Russia, CSA with semi-official cover, etc.; condition varies.

Cover Miscellaneous, two or three hodge-podges combined into one, several hundred postal slogan machine cancels and several thousand philatelic show and/or event illustrated hand cancels, mostly from the sixties and seventies, also a few Tennessee items, nothing super expensive but lots of good dollar box material.

Lot 1994    

Covers and Postal Stationery, 1872-1900s, about 75 covers and postal stationery in nice Lighthouse cover album, emphasis with postal stationery up to 1900 with interesting postmarks, uprated frankings, note a Columbian Wells Fargo frank use and 1892 use from Germany advertised with 1¢ postage due #J22 for fee but unclaimed and returned.
