Military Mail including WWI and WWII, 20th century group of over 40 covers including U.S. ships, APOs, soldier mail, POW and Immigration camp mail, etc., note 1916 U.S.S. New York special delivery use; "U.S.S. Minneapolis" straightline use; U.S.S. Pennsylvania registered use; U.S. Marines at Nicaragua, 1942 Indianapolis Ind. P.O.W. mail to Camp Zentsiji at Shikoku, Japan "Passed by U.S. Censor" with 5¢ Prexie; 1943 Fort Stanton N.M. from Immigration Camp to Chicago, F.-V.F.

Lot 2005    

Post Office Slogan Cancels, thousands upon thousands of covers organized alphabetically according to the first letters of the various Post Office machine slogan cancels spanning the 1950's into the 1980's; thus, there are many cancels appearing as identical multiples across many different towns and states, the collector bought this as a group in 1990 and then tucked it away in his attic.
Estimate    $300 - 400.

Postage Due Stamp Covers, group of 35 covers with various postage due frankings, note 1898 #279B bisect drop use marked "Due 1¢" and 1¢ postage due tied by Utica N.Y. cds; 1925 incoming Canada 1¢ yellow strip of three Admiral issue cover to Detroit with U.S. 10¢ special delivery stamp marked "20 more to pay" and reverse with precancelled 2¢ postage due block of 10 precancelled by Detroit; 1909 Russia unpaid to Prisoner at Philadelphia Pa. with 10¢ due; 1917 Canadian Soldier Letter to Detroit via New York with 104th Canadian Inf. Bn. oval and pair of 2¢ postage dues; etc., F.-V.F.
