1898, Trans-Miss., $1 black, used with 1¢, 4¢, 8¢ and 10¢ Trans-Miss. (285 pair, 287, 289 two, 290) and 6¢ Bureau (271), all tied or cancelled by large "R" cancellation, purple "R, Manila" framed registry handstamp, purple "No. 1, Philippine Isls, San Francisco, Cal. Registered. May 29, 1899" double-circle datestamp on registered reduced greenish linen-lined cover front to Bremen, Germany, red crayon "5"; small erosion hole at center not mentioned on cert, Very Fine and rare high-value use; with 2019 P.F. certificate.

ONE OF ONLY TWO RECORDED $1 TRANS-MISSISSIPPI USAGES FROM THE PHILIPPINES.

The only other recorded Dollar Value Trans-Mississippi Issue use from the Philippines is an Apr. 7th 1899 Philippines registered use to Germany bearing 1¢ #279 strip of three, 5¢ #288 and $1 #292.
