Jun 1" balloon-style cds, carried by American Steamer America from San Francisco Jun. 19th to Honolulu arriving Jul. 4th, docketed "Recd July 4th 56" at left, Very Fine.

Hawaii, 1857 (c., Jul. 19) New Bedford Mass. to Lahaina, Hawaii, blue cover bearing 10¢ green, type III (15), four margins with flaws, tied by blue "New Bedford Mass. Jul 19" cds, addressed to Capt. A. R. Gifford, Barque Roscoe; paper clip rust, Very Fine appearance.

Coan bearing 3¢ rose (65) s.e., cancelled by four-ring cancel duplexed with "Canandaigua N.Y., Sep 26, 1864" double-circle datestamp, bold strike of San Francisco "DUE7" straightline; reduced slightly at left, otherwise Very Fine.

Hawaii, 1895 (Jun. 10) Invercargill, New Zealand to Honolulu, Hawaii, New Zealand 1½d postal letter card uprated with two ½d black singles, all tied by "N.Z., Invercargill, 10 JE 95" cancels to Stamp Agent C.V. Sturdevant, endorsed "Via San Francisco", message relates to having sent Australian stamps for trade but Sturdevant was not interested; tabs removed, Very Fine.
