Matthews (Birmingham) 1912, sterling stamp box and perpetual calendar combination (165x56mm), on flared base, stamp box at left with blue inset enamel "Stamps" in script ion lid, hinged front opening with three curved compartments, gold wash interior, calendar at right with scrolling wheel at right to change day, bracket at base with six double sided month cards, very rare.

Silver Box, sterling stamp box, inkwell, nibbed perf wipe, pen and letter rest combination (139x49mm), top letter rest frame incorporating pen rest in front, front pull out drawer with single gold wash ramped stamp compartment, nibbed perf wipe brush and inkwell with spring hinged lid opens when drawer knob is turned, marked "London 1902", rare.

Silver Box, sterling stamp box and moistener combination (102x102mm), circular box form with intricate engine turned pattern with raised floral scrolling, top hinged lid, six sloped gold wash compartments surrounding a central circular compartment for moistening sponge, French (marked L.D), very rare.

Silver Box, S. Blanckensee & Son Ltd. (Birmingham) 1905, sterling stamp box and rocker blotter combination (137x65mm), knob handle with hinged lid single curved gold wash stamp compartment at one side and window inset on other displaying stamp, engraved "Dec 7th, 1911" on knob, a lovely item.
