Ecuador, 1866, 4r red, horizontal strip of four, margins ample to touching, third stamp showing the "round medallion" variety, all tied by "Quito, Franca, 10 Abril, 67" cds's on Judicial wrapper to Riobamba, carried at the high 32 ounce parcel rate; slight wrinkle in middle stamps, F.-V.F., ex-Saá and Olgieser.

Ecuador, 1866, 4r red and vermilion, single of each shade from the third printing, the latter "round medallion" variety, in combination with 1865, 1r yellow buff, horizontal pair and single on Judicial wrapper to Riobamba, all tied by "3154" in dotted lozenges of Quito, manuscript "1 lb 7oz" weight notation at upper right; wrapper with repaired tear and piece out at lower right, Very Fine appearance, ex-Saá and Olgieser.
