Sep 13" cds on 1869 yellow cover to Oldenburg, Germany, red "New York, Paid All, Br. Transit" exchange cds and Verviers-Cologne (9.30) transits, Oct. 1st receiving backstamp; couple 3c stamps have a few negligible short perfs, prepaid 13¢ for obsolete NGU rate (reduced to 10¢ in 1868), Very Fine and color mixed-issue franking, ex-Kuphal.

Apr. 22" cds on blue Kline's Emporium for Indian Curiosities and Postage Stamps illustrated cover to Belfast Me., reverse with pencil notation "Enclosure dated 1869" but no longer accompanies; reduced slightly at right, Very Fine, early use of the 3c 1869 Pictorial which was issued less than a month prior to this sending, ex-Hulme, Belasco.
