U.S. Mail, City Delivery, 1, Aug 15, partial cds (Skinner-Eno PM-CR 3) and sharp "U.S. Mail, 4. P.M." framed handstamp on folded cover with red "Bogotá, Franca." oval postmark and matching "1" rating handstamp, ms. "$" adjacent, addressed to New York City, reverse with additional red "3" handstamp and ms. "$" adjacent, docketed "Deposited in the Post Office of Bogota New Granada the twenty third day June 1856 by me P Wilson Commissioner"; refolded slightly, Very Fine and unusual inbound New York carrier use from Colombia.

Wells Fargo & Co., 1862, 10¢ blue, printed frank on 1861, 3¢ pink front (U34) rebacked, used as unaddressed paste-up with black company frank at top and allover brown "Gould & Curry, Silver Mining Co." shaded ad, canceled by blue circular "Wells, Fargo & Cos Express, S.Frco, Apr 3" date stamp with second strike alongside; some edge nicks and small tear, F.-V.F. appearance, ex-Lichtenstein and Golden.
