1893, Columbians, 1¢ to $5 complete, Krueger Facimilies, full set mounted in folded card booklet as sold, also extra $1-$5 group as loose singles, each with red or black "Imitation!", Very Fine and attractive.
Scott No. 230-245 var.    Estimate $300 - 400.

The earliest forgeries of the Columbian Issue stamps were printed by the German stamp dealer, Adolf Krueger. These forgeries, crude lithographed copies, were sold at a fraction of the genuine prices.
