Mexico, 1868, Hidalgo (thin figures, imperf), 6c black on buff, plate proof, cons 01-68 trial overprint, complete sheet of 50, without gum, security pen cancel, central tear at top affecting a couple stamp and some creasing, otherwise Very Fine, probably unique.

Mexico, 1868, Hidalgo (thin figures, imperf), 6c black on buff, horizontal strip of four, Camargo, cons 29-69, without district name, canceled by two strikes of "Franco" boxed handstamp (Schatzkes 1823AB) on 1870 folded letter sheet; vertical file crease through first stamp, F.-V.F., a unique usage from Camargo (NF $1,600 as singles off cover), ex-Ricoy, Speaker; with 2008 M.E.P.S.I. certificate.

Mexico, 1868, Hidalgo (thin figures, imperf), 100c black on brown, Chihuahua, horizontal bisect, cons 21, upper portion of stamp tied by oval Allende handstamp (Schatzkes 146) on folded letter sheet Santiago, Very Fine, Doug Stout (the foremost expert in this issue) believed this to be thin figure and described as such; with 2007 M.E.P.S.I. certificate.
Scott No. 50a    Estimate $5,000 - 7,500.

AN EXTREMELY RARE BISECT EXAMPLE OF THE 1868 100C FULL FACE HIDALGO ISSUE.

The bisect only shows the top part so it is impossible to determine if it Thin or Thick figures. No other genuine bisects have been offered in many years so this could be unique.
