Mexico, 1913, Sonora, 5c black & red, type d, complete sheet of 10, on registered cover to Sonora, canceled and tied by "Nogales, 27 Jul, 1913" cds's, with original registration form attached, Very Fine, N. Follansbee states that only 5 intact sheets were recorded in 1921 (one in still in the Smithsonian), most likely this is the only one on cover, although most likely philatelic, it still is a true rarity of this issue; with 2007 M.E.P.S.I. certificate.

AN EXTREMELY RARE COMPLETE SHEET OF THE 1913 NARROW 5C SONORA COLORLESS ROULETTE ISSUE ON COVER.

The narrow 5c is the scarcer of the two types as only 7,000 stamps were issued in total. They were printed with colorless roulettes and also with black all around roulettes.

Mexico, 1913, 5c Sonora, colorless roulette, in combination with 1913, 10c & broad 2c Sonora Whites + 10c Ejercito on registered cover to Lyon, France, all tied by "Hermosa, 4 Ene 13" duplex postmarks, registry etiquette handstamp and reverse with transit postmarks; minor cover edge staining at left, otherwise Very Fine, NF estimates only 200-250 of this Green Seal were issued, stamps alone catalog $360 in Scott off cover.
