Exhibition Allahabad, red violet cachet handstamp ties India 1a KEVII on blue green cover to Cheltenham, England, with appropriate backstamps including Allahabad (2.18) cds, forwarded upon arrival, "C/o A. Cuerdon Esq, Divisional Eng P.V. Dept, Rhohelkhand Divn, Barelly India" return address at left, Very Fine.

Germany, Interrupted Trans-Atlantic Flight, 1927, by Kohl, Loose and Von Hunefeld in the "Bremen", franked with 1926 2M strip of three, 3M strip of three (2) & 1M single, tied on registered envelope by Dessau 14.8.27 cancels with printed "ERSTE LUFTPOST/ DESSAU-NEW YORK" corner card, backstamped "Norderney 4.10.27." for second attempted flight, two boxed handstamps "Zurück/Flug nicht durchgeführt" and "Befördert durch Luftpost/mit Flugzeng Junkers W.33", Very Fine and scarce.

Germany, Zeppelin, Viktoria Luise Flight, 1913, Zeppelin photo card with violet on-board cachet of 7 Aug. 1913, posted to Leipzig with 5c Green tied by "Luftpost/Zeppelin-Schiff/Viktoria-Luise/7. 8. 13" on-board cancel, message in German reads, "Heartfelt greetings from frightful heights.", Very Fine and scarce (Sieger #4a, LZ 11).

Germany, Zeppelin, Sachsen Flight, 1913, official Gustav Eyb Airship card with with 5c Green Postal Card cancelled by "Luftpost/Zeppelin-Schiff/Sachsen/25. 5. 13" on-board cancel, card with light crease, Very Fine (Sieger #8X, LZ 17).
Estimate    $100 - 150.

The card was originally prepared to be carried on the Viktoria Luise, however as this was a special flight for the National Flight Fund, only official Flight Fund cards were used. Thus the card was not dispatched until the following May when the sender added the word "Sachsen" with the proper date.

Germany, Zeppelin, America Flight, 1928, Zeppelin photo card with red on-board "Graf Zeppelin" cachet of October 11, 1928, dropped unfranked and marked postage due at Basel with blue "Basel/Kreis-Post-Dir/11. X. 28" c.d.s., message expresses thanks to an official of the Zeppelin Factory at Friedrichshafen for courtesies extended to the writer, it is signed by Lt. Cmdr. C.E. Rosendahl who was a survivor of the Shenandoah crash, Very Fine and scarce (Sieger #21c).
