Australian States: New South Wales, 1850, Sydney View, 1d dull carmine, plate I re-engraved, hard grayish paper, horizontal pair, barred "8" in oval cancel of Hartley, large margins, rich deep color, Extremely Fine and choice, a wonderful gem pair; with 2012 B.P.A. certificate. SG No. 11.

Sydney all-over tobacco manufacturers advertising cover to Lynchburg Va., red "N.Z. Marine P.O., R.M.S. Moana, 11 Jun 1900" cds, manuscript "via Frisco" directive and "Late fee added", San Francisco (6.29) transit and Lynchburg (7.4) arrival backstamps, Very Fine and attractive advertising cover, one of the 2-1/2p stamps paid the late fee charged.
