Blue oval handstamp on stampless cover to Gold Hill, cover from Benicia with printed Masonic contents, postal markings including "Benicia/Jan 1", "Sacramento City/Jan 9" & "Culloma/Feb 17" (?), manuscript notation "Missent" with handstamped "5" rate marking, handstamped on back flap is a small negative oval "Ophir" in the same color ink as the Wells, Fargo & Co. marking (possibly a wax sealer used to create this marking), a trifle worn, Fine and rare, accompanying research data included. Estimate $200 - 300.
