Uruguay, 1822-65 stampless Trans-Atlantic covers to Great Britain. An interesting group of 16 stampless Trans-Atlantic covers from Montevideo to Great Britain, included are two folded letters with early "Montevideo" straight line handstamp in red (one "Montvo" & one "Montev"), eight folded letter with no Uruguay markings, however 7 of the 8 with Ship Letter marking, six folded letters with oval postmarks of Montevideo including one in red, F.-V.F., worth inspection. Estimate $400 - 600.
