1870 New Orleans, La. To Millau, France. 1864, 3¢ pink entire uprated with 1868, 12¢ green tied by quartered cork cancel overpaying the 4¢ British open mail rate, with matching "New Orleans, La., Jul 18" cds at left, red "New York, Jul 23" exchange cds with additional strikes canceling stamps, "5" decimes due handstamp and Calais cds, Very Fine, most likely paid at the old 15¢ per quarter ounce U.S. - French Convention rate, there was a fully paid unannounced rate of 10¢ for up to 10 grams from July 1, 1870 to July 31, 1874 that this should have qualified for but was rated as above.
