Red "Philadelphia, Pa., Paid, Apr 28" cds and matching straight line "Paid" handstamp with manuscript "38" rate on Prussian closed mail rate cover, red "New York Br. Pkt., Apr 29" exchange backstamp and front with magenta manuscript "15" credit to Prussia (normal 7¢ credit to Prussia plus 8¢ transit beyond the GAPU border), red Aachen boxed date stamp, sent through Baden with manuscript "f3¼" credit and boxed railroad backstamps, to Switzerland then Milan with red "Via Di Svizzera" straight line handstamp and manuscript "7" kreuzer credit, Very Fine, a rare 38¢ Prussian closed mail rate usage to the Kingdom of Sardinia.
