1917, 1¢ green, plate cutting perforation error, horizontal block of 22 from two pane rows, vertical guide line shows between two pairs at right; adherence on back of left pair, some perf separations, Very Fine.

ONE OF ONLY THREE RECORDED EXAMPLES OF THIS PERFORATION ERROR.

The sheet of 400 stamps was fed through the vertical perforator one stamp off. The left vertical column became the margin. The guide line row was perforated and the cutting row moved one stamp right. From left to right, the first 10 pairs of stamps are from the left pane while the eleventh pair is from the right pane. The local precancel plate was arranged for a normal pane of 10 stamps across.
