United States Collection, 1847-1940, housed in Scott album; definitives starting with a nice showing of mostly used classic issues with #1-2, 1851 1¢ types including IIIa (8A), 5¢ & 10¢ types, 1857 with better 1¢ types, #30 unused, 10¢ types and #36b mint, selection of 1861 issues including mint, good 1867 grills with #85 & 85B used (later with manuscript cancel), mint E & F grills, few 1860 Pictorials including 1¢ Re-Issues, mint thereon with Banknotes including 1870 mid and high values, later issues present, Bureaus with a mix of issues up to the $1 values, 1902 definitives to mid-values, good showing of Wash-Frank issues starting with 1908-09 issues complete, later coil singles, with much n.h. and well centered items, 1922-25 definitives and later 4th bureaus including coil waste and well centered Kans-Nebr sets, commemoratives mostly never hinged starting with Columbians complete to the 15¢ and 30¢ value, Trans-Miss to 4¢, Pan-Ams to 5¢, Louisiana to 3¢, Jamestown with gem centered 5¢, 2¢ Lincoln bluish, later issues many with high grade certs; condition mixed confined to early issues with many choice and scarce items throughout, accompanied by 88 certificates.
