1849 Incoming to San Francisco, CA, cover with manuscript "Exeter N.Y., March 31" postmark and incorrect "10" cent due rate for over 300 miles, corrected with magenta manuscript "40" upon arrival at San Francisco, addressed to Augustine Hale of the New England Mining Co. at San Francisco, Upper California, "Fortune Favors the Bold" sealing label on reverse, Very Fine and scarce 1849 inbound use; signed by Frajola on reverse.
